The 2024 Hyundai Palisade XRT Features Exclusive Styling

The three-row SUV puts the world on notice with its exclusive ruggedness and advanced technologies for seamless adventures.

The 2024 Hyundai Palisade XRT is a mid-size crossover SUV which is Hyundai's largest passenger vehicle to date so far. It features three rows of seating and is considered the flagship vehicle in the Hyundai Motor Company's large fleet of vehicles. The Palisades made its debut at the 2018 Los Angeles Auto Show on November 28, 2018, and has been manufactured and marketed by Hyundai since that time, replacing the Santa Fe. The Palisade is available in several trim levels in North America, each offering a unique blend of features and amenities to cater to different preferences and driving needs. It starts with the base SE trim, then the SEL, the XRT, the Limited, and finally the Calligraphy and Calligraphy Night.

All Palisade models are powered by the 3.8-liter Atkinson cycle V6 engine that produces a robust 291 HP and 26 MPGs on the highway. It is also equipped with Idle Stop & Go, technology, ensuring a balance of power and efficiency for a smooth and responsive drive. All that power will be delivered to the HTRAC AWD wheels through an 8-speed transmission. And for those that tow their weekend fun with them, the Palisade is engineered to pull up to 5,000lbs of weekend fun. My press loan for the week was the Palisade XRT with a Steel Graphite exterior paint job with a bold black interior. The vehicle sits on the XRT exclusive black Alloy Wheels. The XRT package is chocked full of XRT exclusives to give it a bolder and more adventurous look compared to other Palisade trim levels.

XRT Exterior Exclusives

The exterior of the XRT boasts many exclusives for its rugged and adventurous exterior look, starting with a dark front grille that perfectly complements its tough off-road demeanor. Exclusive to the XRT model, the front and rear lower bumpers enhance its robust appearance, while the lower door garnish and wheel arches further emphasize its rugged look. The 20-inch XRT exclusive wheels fit seamlessly into the black wheel arches, adding to the vehicle's bold adventurer aesthetic. A distinctive XRT Liftgate badge proudly marks its identity, and the body-color exterior door handles blend in seamlessly, ensuring nothing distracts from the bold and commanding presence of the XRT.

Bold But Comfortable

The bold, clean look of the 2024 Hyundai Palisade XRT continues inside, creating an interior that's both stylish and functional. The 8-way power Black H-Tex trimmed seats, complete with two lumbar supports, offer not only an exclusive rugged look but also great support after a long and adventurous day out and about. And for those chilly mountain bike rides or hikes, the heated seats provide full-body warmth relieving aches and pains on the ride home. The padded, leather-wrapped steering wheel enhances comfort during those long weekend drives, while the power sunroof allows you to enjoy natural light and fresh air. There is a 4.2-inch color LCD driver instrument cluster that displays key driving information clearly and safely providing a stress-free driving experience after a long weekend or tough work commute.

Second and Third Row Comfort

The interior of the XRT ensures premium comfort and convenience for second and third-row passengers. In the second row, passengers enjoy the luxury of captain's chairs that are both ventilated for cooling and heated for warmth. The third row also benefits from heated seats, ensuring comfort for all passengers regardless of their seating position. Rear window sunshades add an extra layer of privacy and protection from the sun. Entry to the third row is effortless, with one-touch sliding second-row captain's chairs allowing easy access. Additionally, Hyundai's Rear Seat Quiet Mode offers the ability to mute the third-row speakers, creating a quiet environment perfect for naptime at the back of the vehicle.

Hyundai Safety Sense

The XRT is equipped with Hyundai's SmartSense, a full suite of intelligent sensors using cameras, sonar, and radars to enhance your safety. These features act as an extra set of eyes, helping you navigate blind spots, avoid drifting, and safely park. SmartSense not only warns of potential accidents but can also intervene to protect you and your passengers. There is a reason the Hyundai Palisade stands as the flagship SUV for the company, and the 2024 XRT trim version does not disappoint. It provides everything 80% of owners need for their next journey. The XRT combines premium comfort with exclusive rugged, adventurous capabilities, creating elegant solutions for any adventure.
