Review: 2020 Ford Mustang Premium Convertible

This iconic classic car now boasting its 56th anniversary is a high-revving celebration of pure American muscle.

I made a run to Lake Murray in Oklahoma today and had to stop when I saw this great picture opportunity depicting a trio of wild mustangs—which instantly became a photo of four wild mustangs. This iconic classic car now boasting its 56th anniversary is a high-revving celebration of pure American muscle. Upgraded with the Pony Package, this 2020 Mustang Convertible EcoBoost Premium is outfitted with extra touches such as:

  • 19" x 8.5" polished aluminum wheels
  • Unique Pony grille, side stripes, tri-bar Pony badge
  • Bright beltline moldings and window surrounds (fastback)
  • Premium carpeted front floor mats with embroidered Pony logo in Ebony

Along with refined aerodynamics for improved performance, a sleeker design is achieved through a more athletic stance, blade decklid spoiler, headlamps with Mustang signature lighting, a new front and rear end design for a leaner and meaner look, and Velocity Blue paint with Ebony Mustang striping detail.

Highlights of the sporty interior include:

  • Active noise cancellation (convertible)
  • 12" all-digital instrument cluster
  • Carbon Zag instrument panel finish
  • Silver Arrow aluminum instrument panel trim
  • 6-way power, heated and cooled Midnight Blue leather-trimmed front seats
  • Leather-wrapped steering wheel
  • Leather-wrapped gear shift knob (manual only)
  • Leather-wrapped mechanical parking brake
